Privacy Policy
Last updated August 1, 2026
This policy covers learn.americanibt.com, the learning platform operated by AZRE Consulting LLC for the American Institute of Business & Technology. It describes what we collect, why we hold it, who else touches it, and how to get it removed.
What we collect
Three kinds of information, and nothing else:
- Your account. Your name, email address, and which sign-in method you used. You give us this when you register.
- What you write in the course. Your assessment answers and scores, the statements you tick in the Operational Diagnosis, your written reflections, and your action steps. Some of this describes how your business runs, which is the point of the exercise and also the most sensitive material we hold.
- Your purchase. That you paid, when your access started, and when it ends. Payment itself happens on Stripe's checkout page. We never see or store your card number.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To deliver what you paid for. Running the course, saving your progress, issuing your certificate and answering your reflections all require the data above. In GDPR terms, this is processing necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To reply to you. Dr. Dayekh reads reflection answers and writes back; that reply is emailed to you and shown beside your answer.
- To keep the platform working and honest. Aggregate, cookieless analytics tell us which parts of the course get abandoned. This is our legitimate interest in improving a product people have bought.
Who else touches your data
We use the following processors. Each one is named because you are entitled to know who holds your information, not merely that “service providers” do.
Clerk
Accounts and sign-in, including Google and Microsoft sign-in
Name, email address, and the sign-in method you chose
Airtable
The database behind the course
Your name, email, progress, assessment answers, diagnostic checklist, written reflections, and certificate records
Stripe
Payment processing
Your email and payment details, which are entered on Stripe's own checkout page. We never receive or store your card number
Google Workspace
Generating certificates, storing them, and sending email
Your name and email address, and the certificate issued to you
Vercel
Hosting and analytics
Standard server logs and page-view analytics, which are aggregated and use no cookies
These providers are based in the United States, so your information is stored and processed there. If you are in the UK or the EU, that is an international transfer, made under the standard contractual clauses each of these providers offers.
How long we keep it
- Your account and course answers: for as long as you have an account with us, and for 12 months after your access window closes so you can come back or ask for your work.
- Certificates: kept indefinitely. A certificate that can be independently verified years later is the whole point of issuing one, and verification only returns the holder's name and the course.
- Payment records: kept by Stripe under their own retention rules, and by us for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights, and how to use them
You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Where the law gives you the right to have your data sent elsewhere in a portable form, you can ask for that too.
Email info@americanibt.com from the address on your account. We will respond within 30 days.
Deleting your account removes your name, email, written answers and progress. We keep the certificate record if one has been issued, because deleting it would break the verification link you may have already shared, and we keep whatever payment records the law requires. Tell us if you want the certificate record removed as well and we will do that too, and the verification link will stop working.
Security
Access to the course requires signing in. Your files, including your copy of the book and your roadmap, are served only to your own signed-in session and are never available at a public link. The people who can see your written answers are you and Dr. Dayekh.
Children
This is a course for people running businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will email you.
